The Surety Association of Canada (SAC) is pleased to offer a Cyber Security Awareness Training (CSAT) webinar on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (EDT).

Offered in partnership with E-Tech, CSAT is a comprehensive cybersecurity education platform that delivers relevant, topical training for measurable results. It helps protect against breaches from phishing attacks, compliance violations, and other unforced errors, so you and your company stay safe from cyberattacks.

The end user is the first line of defense but unfortunately, the end user can also be the weakest cyber security link. As the number of attack strategies taking advantage of the weakest link in an organization grows, addressing security awareness weak points is now crucial to reduce the impact of malware, ransomware and other compromises.

The goal of this session is to empower members to be the most secure through the introduction of threat intelligence tools which are geared to proactively produce security awareness training that is relevant, topical, and tailored to the real-world threats we encounter every day.

About the Presenters: 

Ian Evans is the owner, President and CEO of E-Tech, a Canadian IT consulting firm offering IT Managed Services since 2005, Ian attributes his strength to the close working relationship with each client. 

Simmer Principio is E-Tech’s Cyber Security Analyst, and has been with the firm since 2019. She is responsible for Cyber Security Awareness Training, Dark Web Monitoring, Vulnerability Scans, Penetration Testing, and Security Audit services. 

E-Tech specializes in intelligent business continuity and data protection, Cloud hosting solutions, web design and IT technical support & maintenance and has been SAC’s IT consultant since 2022.
